Boley FieldThe Imperial County Airport (Boley Field), is located within Imperial's city limits. Boley Field meets the general aviation, air transportation, and air cargo needs of the entire county. Regularly scheduled passenger services are provided and they offer connecting flights worldwide. Car rental services are provided by both Budget and Hertz. Mama's Place Restaurant and Best Western Hotel, service travelers that come into the county.

Imperial Irrigation District's Main OfficeThe Imperial Irrigation District's (IID) main yard is located in Imperial. The IID is the 6th largest power utility in California and one of the largest irrigation districts in the world. The IID employs more than 1,100 and services irrigation water to nearly 500,000 acres of fertile farmland. The Imperial Irrigation District provides electricity to a 6,741 square mile area.

FairgroundsThe California Mid-Winter Fairgrounds are located in the heart of Imperial. The Mid-Winter Fair is the county's largest attended event. The fair lasts for a total of 10 days and is held at the end of February or beginning of March each year. The fairgrounds will host other events during the year such as; festivals, barbecues, car races, concerts, trade shows, and private parties.

Imperial TigersImperial Schools offer classes from Preschool through High School. Imperial Valley College,a two year community college, and is located within the City of Imperial. Imperial Valley College operates with a full staff of both counselors and professors to meet every student's needs.
